Cookie Policy

This policy explains cookies and similar website technologies, how they may be used and how visitors can control them.

What Cookies Are

Cookies are small text files a website or service provider can store in a browser. Similar technologies, including local storage and pixels, may also remember settings, support security or measure how a website is used.

Current Website Use

Current status: Google Analytics 4 is configured for aggregate website measurement, but it loads only after a visitor allows analytics. The website does not currently use advertising cookies.

Types of Technologies We May Use

  • Strictly necessary: Support website delivery, security, traffic management and essential functions.
  • Preferences: Local browser storage remembers whether analytics was allowed or declined.
  • Analytics: With permission, Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate traffic, article performance and website usage.

Third-Party Services

Google Analytics may set cookies such as _ga and _ga_<container-id> after analytics is allowed. Google describes these cookies as supporting user distinction and session-state persistence, with default expiration periods of up to two years. Review Google's Analytics cookie documentation.

The contact form is forwarded to its delivery provider by the publication's server, rather than loaded as a third-party form in the visitor's browser.

Your Choices

You may select “Allow Analytics” or “Decline” when the cookie control appears. Your choice is stored in the browser. Use “Cookie Settings” in the footer to change it later. Most browsers also allow visitors to view, block or delete cookies through browser settings.

Updates to This Policy

This policy will be revised when cookie use, website providers or visitor controls materially change. The dates at the top of the page identify the latest revision.
